Director EMEA Controlling at Aliaxis
“A couple of years ago the company where I was working was considering the launch of a corporate sustainability campaign and I introduced the leadership team to a global leader in environmental issues. My colleagues were keen on hearing from an expert engaged in pro bono projects with a range of large multi nationals but it turned out that they had not finalised their case and their pitch.
It was a nice meeting, but it remained at an exploratory level. In hindsight, I would say that we did not make the best use of my connection’s time. However, it allowed us to go back to the drawing board, face our lack of preparation and better structure our objectives and plan.”
