CEO of Kempen, Member of the Executive Board of Van Lanschot Kempen, Member of the Supervisory Board of Tata Steel NL, Air France-KLM and Transtrend
Leni Boeren is ceo of Kempen and member of the executive board of Van Lanschot Kempen. She is also independent member of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee of Air France-KLM in France (since 2017), member of the Supervisory Board of Transtrend in the Netherlands (since 2015) and a member of the Supervisory Board of Tata Steel NL in the Netherlands (since 2014).
Leni Boeren started her career in the financial sector at Paribas in 1983, she went on to work for Rabobank from 1984-1992. She headed Robeco’s marketing and product management department from 1992 to 1997. From 1997 to 2000 she was a member of the Board of Directors of Amsterdam Exchanges and from 2000 to 2005 she was a member of the Executive Committee of Euronext.
From 2005 till Dec 2016 she was a member and vice-chair of the Management Board of Robeco Groep. She held several board positions with Robeco’s subsidiaries, amongst others, Robeco Direct in the Netherlands (2005-2014), Boston Partners Global Investors in the US (2007-2016), SAM Sustainable Asset Management in Switzerland (2010-2016) and Harbor Capital Advisors in the US (2016).
Since 2006, Leni has also taken on a number of non-executive positions as a board member at Stichting Kunsthal (2006-2013); Tergooi Hospitals (2007-2014); Nuon Energy (2009-2014) and Amsterdam Sinfonietta (2011-2018).
