Over the past ten years, the BJM has become an institution, due to the event itself and the reports that are published afterwards. The most recent edition featured the main themes that keep company lawyers awake at night.
This coming year, this annual networking event for Dutch company lawyers will be organised again by Houthoff in collaboration with the Dutch Association of Company Lawyers. 2017 was a special anniversary year for the Bedrijfsjuristen Monitor. View here the ‘Blik terug in de tijd; 10 jaar BJM’ (Dutch only).
We regularly organise roundtables for executive and supervisory directors. We tackle current topics and our thought-provoking propositions encourage lively discussion. We follow the Chatham House rules to create the best possible atmosphere in which to share our knowledge.
If you, as an executive or supervisory director, would like to receive an invitation, please send a message to events@houthoff.com. Please state your position and/or supervisory role, with a link to a more detailed profile so that you will only receive invitations to roundtables that may be of interest to you.
An in-depth meeting for women at the top of their profession. Following successful editions in the Netherlands, this is being organised for the first time at all Houthoff offices around the world. This year, the theme of the meeting is ‘connect’. During the in-depth part of the programme, participants will discuss thought-provoking ideas on current issues with broad relevance. This will be followed in the afternoon by an exclusive artistic interlude and cocktails. The Public Procurement Act (Aanbestedingswet) provides for a particular regime for special-sector tenders. As a result, special-sector companies and market parties who compete for special-sector tenders find themselves confronted with specific procurement issues. When is a ‘relevant activity’ involved? What exceptional grounds are there? When can they be applied? and what particular aspects require attention? What forms of cooperation are possible without giving rise to a tender obligation?
These and other issues will be discussed during the meeting on Special Sectors and procurement law on 23 May.
